Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer. ~Denis Waitley
We don’t always accomplish what we set out do do, exactly as we planned. Sometimes, we don’t even get close to what we envisioned… That’s OK.
What’s important is to keep trying, keep moving forward. Sometimes, we’ll stumble and sometimes we’ll fall. Falling is still movement. If we didn’t try, if we remained paralyzed and didn’t move, we wouldn’t fall.
Falling is preferable to stagnation. Falling brings us closer to our goals, while stagnation keeps us stuck in place.
Change is scary… Falling is scary… But so is staying the same when you’re unhappy.
Resolve to stumble, to fall, to keep moving. The destination, your happiness, is worth the bumps collected along the way.
Doug and I are traveling to day… We’re dropping Daughter 1 off with her mother. It’s a five hour drive each way, so blogging is on the back burner. Good thing we’re proactive monkeys and created this post last night… Scheduling is your friend! See you tomorrow…

I’m always inspired by your words. May u never stop. 🙂
Thank you! I don’t have any plans to stop… I may be slowed down this week while visiting relatives, but stopping is not in the plans. Next week I’ll be back full time with my new series.
Coolio ill b looking forward to it! 🙂
I like this post very much! It is honest and inspiring. We don’t always succeed in achieving our goals but trying is always better than sitting idle waiting for a miracle. Often failing makes us wiser and we realize that we were shooting for stars instead of building our happiness on the basis of real life.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment. I realized that I try more than I succeed, and that’s normal. Failing once and giving up gets us nowhere. If I gave up the first time I failed I would still be laying on the ground, around 10 months of age… Obviously, we all get up and try again in life. We just need to remember to apply the same determination to our dreams…
I am so enjoying your blog! Thank you for stopping by:)
Thanks!
