Every act of creation is first an act of destruction.~Pablo Picasso
Two Sides Of Change
Destruction and creation are linked processes. This is observable in nature as well as our own lives. This is the pattern of transformation.
Change is a natural process that is ever present, and so must be destruction and creation…
Change Is Good
It’s important to remember that change is not a negative situation. For anything in your life to get better, it must change. If nothing changes things remain the same and become stagnant… And maybe they change in a way you don’t want by degrading. Stagnation never leads to a positive outcome…
Let’s Start Breaking Things!
The next few posts in the Connect With Your True Self series will be devoted to Change, destruction and creation. Follow along with Doug and me as we present some exercises to help promote change in you, your life and your views of reality.
Get ready to break some old thought patterns. Don’t worry, you’ll find new and better ones. As the late nineties band Semisonic relates-
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end

So true, and concisely said. Well done.
Thank you.
“Destruction leads to a very rough road but it also breeds creation…” That horrible time lapse when you know you have broken down the old, but the new is not yet emerging is very difficult though!
It is! I’m there right now, and have been for a while. I guess I just need to keep moving forward.
Me too. I had a small tip which has helped a lot: when life stirs up the sediment, you are in a good place, because it is a part of creation and transformation. If we’re on a new path, we’re creating, so we don’t know where it will lead us. It’s not as easy as before, and it means letting go of familiar and safe ideas about the world, but we are exploring our own paths, and that also means the incubating time where we brew magic below the surface, and the doubt and uncertainty. But it’s okay. Part of the process.
I am once again reminded of Kali.
Yes, me too.
