There is no fixed physical reality, no single perception of the world, just numerous ways of interpreting world views as dictated by one’s nervous system and the specific environment of our planetary existence. ~Deepak Chopra
Turning Outward
We’ve spent some time looking inwards to connect with our true selves.
Now we’re going to focus on the external world that makes up our reality, and how to interact with it.
We’ll be using some of the same techniques we’ve already learned, and developing some new ones too.
Our journeying inwards developed our ability to see and experience things we don’t normally sense.
The exterior world can be sensed in this way as well. By doing this we will gain a better understanding of reality, how we fit into it and our connection with everything else.
Respect
Respect is key for what we’ll be doing next. You must respect not only yourself, but every other part of creation. Everything has energy and is part of a greater spirit body… Other people, streams and even rocks. All are connected to an underlying energy that flows through everything.
Respect leads to communication, which is what our goal will be for the next exercises… We’re going to communicate with the reality beyond ourselves, not just observe it… And we’ll start with a rock.
You may be skeptical that communication can occur with a rock. If you expect it to ask you how your day was, you have a right to be skeptical. But, since it’s a part of the greater whole of creation, we can learn from a simple rock by using our imagination and experiencing its existence. Read about this exercise on how words affect water molecules… It’s pretty fascinating.
After that we’ll move on to animals and other parts of our greater reality. Come on, it’ll be fun!
Remember, imagination is powerful because it creates your thoughts, which in turn create your reality. By pushing the limits of your imagination, you’ll become a more powerful thinker… And we can all benefit from that.
Get ready to move outward, expand your mind and understand everything just a little bit better…
