Cultivating Neutrality In Life.

Your body must become familiar with its death – in all its possible forms and degrees – as a self-evident, imminent, and emotionally neutral step on the way towards the goal you have found worthy of your life.~Dag Hammarskjold

Don’t Get Sucked In
Doug is cool as a cucumber with his cultivated neutrality.

Doug is cool as a cucumber with his cultivated neutrality.

Remaining neutral while the chaos of life unfolds around you is key to a balanced and healthy existence.

When you lose your neutrality you give up your control and become reactive instead of proactive.

You allow yourself to be influenced by outside forces. Sometimes these influences are good, but they are often bad, at least for you.

You know what’s best for you, so why allow the decision of how you feel be made outside of yourself?

Neutrality gives you control over your own destiny. For me, that’s the ultimate goal in life- self determination.

Moving Onward

So far, Doug and I have shared techniques to get to know your spirit body by seeing it and feeling it. We know the the size and shape of ourselves now.

By reading ourselves we’ve become more connected with all of our aspects. We’ve learned to sense when something is out of balance and how to correct it.

The more you practice the exercises we’ve shared so far the more attuned you’ll become with your spirit body and yourself. You will have a better understanding about what’s affecting you on all levels, and how it manifests in your physical body. It will be easier to understand your true desires and needs because you can now turn inward for the answers.

Who better to provide a solution to a personal problem than yourself?

Over the next few posts, we’re going to turn our attention outwards and use what we know about spirit bodies to understand the physical reality that is outside of us. We’ll be using some of the same exercises, expanding on some and sharing new ones too.

Nature is a good place to start our exploration of the outside world. We’re connected to everything and everyone through a web of energy that is as real as the electricity that powers your lights. We’ll expand our consciousness to incorporate everything, and learn to appreciate the interconnectedness that is the foundation of reality.

Neutrality is vital when dealing with anything that is outside ourselves. If we’re not careful we’ll pick up the patterns and emotions of others, instead of relying on ourselves to create our personal version of existence.

Stay neutral!

  1. nature an neutrality 🙂 kewl one ..so agreed 🙂 … Q

    1. Hey Q- Glad you like it.

  2. Very hard to do, as all your exercises are. I do know what you mean with the spirit showing the body what is to come. My mother died six months after I was feeling grief in my body.

The neutrality part is very hard since I have a keen insight into how people work. Even if I do keep my feelings to myself and know what is best for me, I have trouble not saying to myself “They are just talking to themselves.” You know what I mean!!!:)

    Good post!

    1. Somehow we’ve lost touch with ourselves as a race. It seems like the connections may be re-establishing themselves though. It’s important to listen to our intuition. I’m very intuitive as well, and know when bad things are going to happen…

  3. Interesting that you’ve hit on this. You might want to visit a website I found, http://www.cultureneutral.com , what I think will be a real game changer in the next few years.

    1. I’ll check it out- Thanks.
